Creamy Chocolate Cake with Pears & Walnuts

Sweet pears, crunchy walnuts and loads of chocolate - this rich and delicious chocolate cake is all you need this fall!

Ingredients
250g dark chocolate
150g butter
100g walnuts
3 pears
5 eggs
350g sugar
60g flour
40g cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Method
Chop Chocolate roughly and melt over a waterbath. Chop walnuts roughly. Peel pears, remove stem and seeds and cut into cubes. Beat up eggs and sugar until creamy.
Fold in chocolate carefully. Mix flour, cocoa and baking powder and fold in. Mix in pears and walnuts.
Heat oven to 180°C. Fill batter into a greased baking tray and bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Remove cake from the oven and allow to cool.
