Here’s a simple and delicious Flatbread recipe — soft inside, lightly crisp outside, perfect for dips, wraps, or as a side to grilled dishes!

ree

Ingredients - for 6 Flatbreads

300 g (2 ½ cups) all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

3 tbsp olive oil

150–180 ml (⅔–¾ cup) warm water

Method

In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder.

Add olive oil and most of the water, then knead until you have a smooth, soft dough. If it’s too dry, add a bit more water; if too sticky, sprinkle in a little flour.

Cover and let it rest for 20–30 minutes at room temperature. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then flatten and roll out into thin circles (about 20 cm / 8 inches diameter). Cook each flatbread for about 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown spots appear. Stack the flatbreads and cover them with a clean kitchen towel to keep them soft until serving.
