Easy Teriyaki Beef Wok

Nothing better than a quick and simple asian style stir-fry! These wok dishes are perfect for a quick dinner. Tender beef, luscious veggies and spicy teriyaki sauce. Fresh ginger adds some extra fruity flavour!

Ingredients - serves 2
300g beef filet
1 bell pepper
1 small broccoli
1 thumbnail-sized piece of ginger
1 tbsp. mirin
1 tbsp. sake
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1 small chili
2 spring onion
2 garlic cloves
some sesame oil
sesame seeds
Method
Cut the beef into stripes. Wash broccoli, spring onion and pepper. Remove stem from broccoli and cut into florets. Remove stem and seeds from pepper and chili. Cut pepper into slices and chop chili finely. Cut spring onion into slices, peel ginger and garlic and chop finely.
Stir together sake, soy sauce, mirin and sugar. Heat some sesame oil in a pan. Sear beef in the hot pan, add in broccoli, pepper and chili and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add garlic and ginger. Mix Teriyaki sauce with 150ml water, add to the pan and cook until the water is gone. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds and serve with rice or noodles.
