Extra Chocolatey Pekan-Chocolate Cake

Craving for chocolate? Then this is the perfect fix for you - this extra chocolatey pekan-chocolate cake is all you need!

Ingredients
250g softened butter
280g sugar
70g cocoa
3 eggs
250g sour cream
250g flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
200g pekan nuts
150g dark chocolate
Method
Mix flour, baking powder and cocoa in a bowl. Whip up softened butter and eggs until creamy. Add in vanilla extract, milk and flour-mix and combine. Heat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Chop nuts and chocolate roughly and fold into the batter. Pour the batter into the baking tray and smooth down. Bake in preheated oven for about 40 minutes - the cake should still be a little chunky. Remove cake from the oven and allow to cool off completely before removing from the baking tray.
