Here is a easy and delicious Fig–Goat Cheese Tart recipe, you need to try!

Ingredients - serves 4–6
1 sheet puff pastry (or shortcrust pastry)
5–6 fresh figs, halved or sliced
150g goat's cream cheese
1 small log of soft goat cheese (chèvre), sliced
2–3 tbsp honey or fig jam
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh thyme (optional)
Salt & pepper
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Line a tart pan with the pastry, pressing it gently into the edges. Prick the bottom with a fork to prevent bubbles.
Spread cream cheese onto the dough.
Slice the figs and goat cheese. Arrange the figs and cheese in alternating rows or overlapping circles. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
Season with a small pinch of salt and pepper. Spoon or drizzle the honey (or warm fig jam) evenly over the filling. Add fresh thyme if using.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the pastry is golden and the cheese is soft and lightly browned. Let cool slightly, then drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
Serve warm or at room temperature. Great as a starter, brunch dish, or with a salad.
