You love italian food as much as I do? Then this will be one of your favorite recipes! Delicate meatballs in a delicious tomato sauce - served with fresh white bread, they are incredibly delicious!

Ingredients - serves 3
500g minced veal
1 onion
30g bread crumbs
1 egg
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp. tomato puree
1 tbsp. chopped italian herbs
some olive oil
salt & pepper
Method
Mix minced meat with egg, bread crumbs & herbs and work into a smooth mixture. Season well with salt and pepper and form into small balls with your hands. Heat some olive oil in a pan and braise the meatballs from all sides. Remove meatballs from the pan and set aside.
Peel onion and chop finely. Add some more olive oil to the pan and cook the onions until glassy. Add in canned tomatoes and tomato puree. Add in the meatballs and cover the pan. Cook for 20 minutes. Add in some water if necessary. Serve with fresh white bread.
