Tasty Bean Patties

Here’s a simple and tasty Bean Patties recipe - Easy to make, crispy outside, soft inside.

Ingredients - 8 pieces
1 can beans (about 240 g / 1½ cups drained; kidney, white, or mixed beans)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 egg
3–4 tbsp breadcrumbs (or rolled oats)
1 tbsp flour
Salt and black pepper
1 tsp paprika
Oil for frying
Method
Rinse and drain beans well. Mash with a fork or potato masher (slightly chunky).
Combine beans with onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, flour, and spices.Mix until the mixture holds together. Add more breadcrumbs if needed.
With damp hands, form small flat patties.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.Fry patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Serve hot.
