The Best Banana Cake

Fluffy and luscious - you have to try this delicious recipe for banana cake!

Ingredients
150g softened butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
5 eggs
35 ml rum
3 ripe bananas
150g sugar
220g flour
120g grounded hazelnuts
1 tsp. baking soda
some cinnamon
some nutmeg
Method
Peel bananas, cut into slices and mash with a fork. Seperate eggs and beat up egg whites. Beat up butter, sugar and vanilla extract, until creamy. Add in egg yolks, rum, spices & bananas and combine.
Heat oven to 175°C. Mix flour, baking soda & hazelnuts. Fold beaten egg whites into the batter, then work in the flour mix. Fill the batter into a greased loaf tin and bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool, before removing from the tin.
