Torta al Cioccolato

All you need, when craving for chocolate! This smooth and indulgent italian chocolate cake doesn't need much. It is easy to make and ready in no time. The perfect recipe for a soft, moist and delicious chocolate cake!

Ingredients


300g dark chocolate

150g butter

5 eggs

100g sugar

2 tbsp. flour

250g raspberries




Method

Heat oven to 160°C. Chop chocolate roughly and melt with butter over a waterbath.

Seperate yolks from egg whites and beat up whites until stiff.


Mix yolks and sugar in a bowl and beat up until creamy. Set chocolate aside and allow to cool. Now mix chocolate with flour and fold into the beaten egg yolks. Carefully fold beaten egg whites into the chocolate batter.

Line a springform with parchment paper. Fill the batter into the springform pan, smooth down and bake in preheated oven for about 40 minutes - check with a wooden stick, if the cake is ready and prolong baking time, if necessary.

Remove cake from the oven and allow to cool of a little. Carefuly remove chocolate cake from the pan. Wash raspberries and spread on top of the cake.
